Let me share an insight I had on a walk today and how you can use it to build a life that seems impossible to others…

My wife and I were walking this evening talking about business and our next strategic steps to grow.

I want to experience my first million-dollar month, so I was talking about how to get there.

However, I feel like I’m hitting a wall that won’t move; It has been my greatest struggle lately. This meant that I needed to develop systems to get to the next level because what brought our family this level of success doesn’t serve us anymore.

That wall made me feel on edge. I was asking myself, “Is this even possible?”

Then I had issues today with my products and my advertising. It brought my traffic to a screeching halt, and I felt like throwing my laptop out the window. It seemed like fate was telling me I’m heading in the wrong direction.

Then my wife said something life-changing on our walk tonight…

She said, “Remember that nobody thought it was possible to make $1 million in a day until someone did it! Everything seems impossible until someone does it.” My whole perspective changed at that moment.

I realized that many, many things seemed impossible until someone did it! So I told myself, “People have achieved million-dollar days; a million-dollar month gives me at least 30x more time than they had.”

But here’s the problem we faced…

We still had to deal with how we would set our minds to think bigger than ever.

So we set our mental state to make $1 million in a month possible.

Setting our mental state first allows us to think bigger from the start. When we think bigger, our old goals seem tiny. I used to think I was rich at $100,000 per year, but it looks small compared to a million-dollar month. And, some people find my goal small because they’ve experienced a million-dollar day, and so on…

Thinking bigger means we can do the math necessary to make $1 million in a month.

And what this ultimately means is that we can build a strategy around our goal.

In the end, I’m able to keep reaching up, rising to every challenge.

Even more, this means I’m setting an example for the people I love. I’m demonstrating that I lead by taking action, and I challenge and inspire people to rise to their potential. My fulfillment comes from leading, serving, and supporting others as they go after their dreams.

Your takeaways from this story are that thinking big doesn’t take any more energy than thinking small. However, thinking big produces significant results. People might say, “You can’t do that.” But, what they’re saying is, “I can’t do that.” Finally, everything seems impossible at first, until someone does it. Who has done what you want? If they did it, so can you!
