I wrote a children’s book, and I want to show you the lessons I learned and how they can benefit your life.

I decided to write a children’s book that builds leadership principles such as bravery, not giving up, and working as a team.

My vision was to create a book that would set a child up with a successful mindset from the start.

I wanted to make this book to reach children when they’re at their most impressionable age, so they grow into adults who still hold these essential principles.

When I began this project, I researched the children’s books on the market and noticed that most books have cute messages with no crucial lessons.

That meant parents are reading these stories to their children, but the kids do not take anything from the story except some colorful pictures.

That made me feel disgusted because there’s no reason why children’s books shouldn’t contain essential life lessons that set our kids up for success.

So I set out to write an epic tale that teaches kids real-world lessons, but a children’s book is a project that requires a team.

I didn’t expect that the book’s initial draft would be quoted at thousands of dollars and would take months, so I almost let it scare me away from pursuing my dream.

But, something happened that I never expected…

My wife and I surprised our family in Michigan by coming home for Christmas (from our home in Hawaii). For the first time, I shared quality time with my nephews (under three years old), and I was overwhelmed with joy.

I looked into their eyes and was able to see the future of our country.

So I decided to go all-in writing and producing the children’s book to play a positive role in shaping our future leaders’ minds.

But I had a new problem…

I had never written a children’s book, I can’t draw any better than a stick figure, and I had no idea how to put the book together even if I had the story and the illustrations.

Thankfully, I went out to the internet and hired a team to write, illustrate, and help me publish my vision. My original thought was that I would be creating this book, but it turned out that I lead the team to make my dream a reality.

That allowed me to take a leadership role in the production of the book.

It meant I got to focus on sharing the project with people I love, which built tremendous anticipation. Ultimately, the book was recently released on Amazon and finished a month and a half before Christmas.

By acknowledging my fear of spending thousands of dollars producing a kid’s book, I was able to push forward anyway, lead a team to create a successful product and give the book to my nephews right before Christmas.

All of this means I’m able to give my family the precious gift of life lessons, but I’m also able to show them that anything is possible if we commit and don’t give up.

This one of a kind book is more than a book; it’s the physical representation of 12 months of my life dedicated to serving the people I love.

I want you to take from this story that you can accomplish anything when you decide that you will see it through from start to finish, no matter what gets in your way.

Also, we can’t produce anything alone, so lead your team with understanding and appreciation. And, always remember that your positive actions are a service to the people you love.

Your next step is to empower the little ones in your life. My children’s book, “The Brave Bunch,” teaches children how to become brave leaders who don’t give up, take action, and go after their dreams.

Give the children in your life the gift of leadership principles that will set them up for success from the start. We can help the people we love to avoid the painful lessons that we went through.

The Brave Bunch is a timeless book that will capture the heart of you and your little ones. You’ll bond over its colorful pages and essential lessons.
